Sheriff Richard Mack Removed from the AFLDS Board – Criminal Complaint filed Against him in Maricopa County, Arizona for Theft and Embezzlement

**A Copy of the Criminal Complaint is Attached**

(Tampa, Florida) – On Friday, the Board of Directors of America’s Frontline Doctors voted to remove Sheriff Richard Mack from the Board after discovering that Mack had – without Board approval – illegally withdrawn $350,000 from an AFLDS bank account.

The Board gave Mack the opportunity to return the funds, which he has so far not done, accordingly the Board filed a criminal complaint against Mack in Maricopa County, Arizona alleging theft and embezzlement.

In response to this situation, Kevin Jenkins, Chair of the AFLDS Oversight Committee, issued the following statement:

‘This is a sad day for AFLDS and for the medical freedom movement in general. Someone we once trusted, Sheriff Richard Mack, has abused that trust and stolen $350,000 from this organization.

“Sheriff Mack had no authority to withdraw those funds, and after being giving ample time to return the stolen funds has simply refused to do so. Anyone who is in possession of these funds is in possession of stolen funds and could have criminal liability. Additionally, anyone who aided Sheriff Mack in this brazen theft may also have criminal liability.

“We are confident that justice will be done and we will not rest until it is.”
