The wind is blowing but it's not electricity that is being generated.
Are you holding your hand out?
This wind non-sense must stop. It has accelerated to nearly a daily occurrence that someone calls for help about a proposed wind development system somewhere in the Great Plains of America. Intermittent power will never be the solution for our electricity needs. Do you how many people have told me that the received a government payment to put in solar or wind generation but they can’t afford the batteries? Tons is the answer.
My first question has been answered right here and right now. Why is it that there seems to be this huge push right now everywhere to build these worthless systems. The Department of Energy has post on their own website this information.
The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which became law on August 16, 2022, extends and increases tax credits for wind energy projects that begin construction prior to January 1, 2025. Starting in 2025, the IRA converts energy tax credits into emissions-based, technology-neutral tax credits available to all types of power facilities with zero or net-negative carbon emissions. The IRA begins phasing out either in 2032 or when total greenhouse gas emissions in the power sector decline to at least 75% below 2022 levels—whichever comes last.
Yes indeed here is the Federal Government doling out your tax dollars to create a boom, bust scenario in the wind energy industry. WIND is not sustainable, period. Okay don’t take me word for it. Harvard University back in 2017 had to admit themselves they like the taste of crow.
From their own website I found this.
In two papers — published today in the journals Environmental Research Letters and Joule — Harvard University researchers find that the transition to wind or solar power in the U.S. would require five to 20 times more land than previously thought, and, if such large-scale wind farms were built, would warm average surface temperatures over the continental U.S. by 0.24 degrees Celsius.
In previous research, Keith and co-authors modeled the generating capacity of large-scale wind farms and concluded that real-world wind power generation had been overestimated because they neglected to accurately account for the interactions between turbines and the atmosphere.
Folks none of the information presented about wind or solar energy is accurate. Quite honestly it is not any different that the demonization of CO2 and trying to convince people that this vital plant nutrient must be encapsuled in the earth a mile deep. Here is the deal the very emissions that everyone is trying to avoid enable LIFE.
I am here to tell you that “Green Energy” is not about producing energy at all is it simply about stealing your property rights. The freedom of a nations people harkens back to the property individuals own and how they can care for it. Every single one of these pseudo green deals has the little issue of you need to sign up with us, oh and don’t pay any attention to the fine print about you will not be able to ever be able to make a decision on your land again.
We have become a nation of whores, willing to sign anything for a payment. I mean look at what is happening to the ethanol industry right now. We know it was created by policy that provided subsidies to ethanol plants and blenders to build the infrastructure. NOW to keep that said infrastructure you must implement carbon capture and bury an essential nutrient of life.
My friends we have just started. The hardest calls I am receiving today is the person is who at odds with their family about whether or not to sign the conservation easement at $50/acre or not to allow the wind developer to control my families property for the real of our lives. When family members can not agree on this, it only goes from bad to worst.
In closing, I pretend not to tell anyone what you must do with your property, I am a zealot for ultimate property rights. But I do ask you this question. How will your kids, or grandkids be handcuffed and put out of land ownership a generation or two from know because of the decisions you made while standing their hold your hand out?
